Biography

Adam Katz joined KKG in 2014 as Counsel practicing in the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate Group.  Adam’s background includes representing purchasers, sellers, tenants, owners, and property managers in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including sale, acquisition, financing, and leasing matters.  In these contexts, he structures, negotiates, and drafts leases, finance documents, purchase and sale agreements, and related conveyance and business instruments.  In addition, Adam also counsels clients on lease interpretation, brokerage, property management, construction, and title matters. Before joining KKG, Adam served as General Counsel to Roswell, Georgia based Mimms Enterprises, Inc., an owner, manager, and operator of retail, industrial and office properties throughout the Southeast, and as Real Estate Counsel with Aaron Rents, Inc., an NYSE corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Adam is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law before the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, and United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

Outside of the office Adam enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter. He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys attending college and professional football games, coaching, and playing softball for his synagogue softball team.
